FREDERICKSBURG, Va., Mar. 23, 2023 – This week Catapult Consultants’ Chief Executive Officer Victor Fuster participated in the panel discussion at the Federal and State Government Contracting and Certification Programs hosted by Stafford Economic Development Authority (EDA) and University of Mary Washington Small Business Development Center (UMW SBDC) on March 21, 2023. The event provided an overview of Federal and State Government Contracting and Certification Programs and included Jim Stover of Stafford Airport as well as additional representatives from the Small Business Association (SBA) and UMW SBDC.

The focus of Fuster’s presentation was on the importance of leveraging small business organization resources. He also highlighted the role networking plays in business growth. Fuster drew on his experiences leading Catapult Consultants and from his role as Vice President of Operations at Riphean Investments, a private equity firm in Fredericksburg, VA investing in companies impacting National Security.

“As the leader of a small business, I recognize the importance of the Federal and State Government Contracting and Certification Programs instituted by UMW SBDC and the Stafford EDA,” stated Fuster. “Our organization has benefited in the past from the SBA’s 8(a) Business Development Program, and we understand firsthand the impact it can have on small business success in the Federal market.”
