Catapult Consultants Wins DHS Small Business Achievement Award

Catapult Consultants LLC, a leading 8(a) firm that specializes in providing an array of financial management, acquisition management, program management, and information assurance solutions to Federal agencies, announced today that it has won the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Small Business Achievement Award.

The award recognizes Catapult’s outstanding work in support of the DHS mission. In particular, Catapult is being recognized for work performed for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Office of Acquisition Management in FY10.

The annual DHS Small Business Achievement Award recognizes exceptional contributions to the homeland security mission by a select group of small business firms from across the country. The award is sponsored by the DHS Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) and includes nominations and substantial participation by the broader DHS procurement community and program offices in DHS components.

Catapult’s Acquisition Management Division assisted DHS ICE in Dallas, TX in managing their National Purchase Card Program (NPCP). Catapult supported the ICE NPCP by performing project management tasks including monitoring transactions of cardholders and approving officials’ performance in accordance with DHS and government rules. Catapult will also provide assistance in developing and maintaining ICE specific policies and procedures for the national purchase card program to complement DHS purchase card policy and collect and prepare documentation for submission to U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or other approved units as requested.
