Catapult Consultants, a leading 8(a) firm that specializes in providing an array of financial management, acquisition management, program management, and information assurance solutions to Federal agencies, was selected to provide a full range of financial program management services to the United State Marine Corps Combat Development Command Comptroller (MCCDC).
Catapult will provide the MCCDC comptroller with highly skilled financial program management expertise to improve its ability to handle various financial management related quick-turn tasks, requests, special studies, and other activities, as required, in support of the MCCDC, other Marine Corps comptrollers, Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps, the Navy, Department of Defense, and Congress.
“We are extremely pleased to have been selected as the prime contractor for this new requirement, and are confident in our ability to support MCCDC in satisfying the comptroller’s increasing need for services,” said Anthony Fung, Principal at Catapult Consultants. Mr. Fung also stated that the critical challenge driving the contract is to provide ample and continual contractor support to satisfy the demands of existing, expanding, and new requirements being levied on the government staff.
“This is a great opportunity for Catapult to draw upon our strategic financial management, accounting, budgeting, and program management experience to ensure effective and continuous MCCDC comptroller operations,” said Anthony Fung.
Catapult’s financial management team will perform the work on-site at MCCDC headquarters at Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Virginia. The contract has a one-year base period, with four one-year option periods.
