Catapult Consultants, a leading 8(a) firm that specializes in providing an array of financial management, acquisition management, program management, and information assurance solutions to Federal agencies, was recently selected by the CMS to assist in its federal oversight efforts of organ transplant programs across the country.
“We are excited to be working with CMS on this important effort”, said Joshua Bogart, Principal of Catapult Consultants. “Our expert team of transplant physicians, surgeons, nurses, and dieticians has a wealth of experience in quality improvement, reviewing various types of transplant programs, and ensuring programs are compliant with CMS requirements.”
Catapult will work with CMS to ensure the transplant programs meet new quality standards implemented by CMS in March 2007, and will determine if programs will be Medicare approved. Both adult and pediatric programs are subject to meet the new requirements for heart, lung, kidney, pancreas, and liver transplant programs.
